About us
Who we are
A registered non-profit of trained volunteers who help find lost and injured people in the Whitecourt region.
Our story
Whitecourt Search and Rescue was formed by local residents who wanted to make sure help was close by when someone went missing in our forests and river valleys. Today our members train year round and respond at the request of the RCMP and other agencies. We are funded by grants, local businesses and community donations.
